The type of paper used for difference purposes is expressed in weight. In the countries following the European system, it is grammes per square metre (gsm or g/m2 or simply g) and in the US system it is Pound (lb).

The paper used for writing/printing (letterheads and such stationery) is generally between 60 to 120 gsm (20 to 70 lb) and is called the paper or text stock. Anything heavier than this is considered the card stock, i.e. the paper used for business cards, postcards, greeting cards, etc.

Card Stocks are available in two finishes – glossy (shiny and smooth) and matt (flat and lusterless). Coated glossy papers reflect the light evenly so they are suitable for almost all types of printing jobs. Glossy papers have a good ink holdout, which is important for creating sharp, bright images.

We have a variety of paper that we use. For each category we have chosen paper stock best suited for the print products. Besides the most commonly used Gloss / Matte / Ivory stocks we also provide prints on special substrates with metallic / texture finishes. We also offer prints on Natural substrates which are printed on recyclable eco-friendly substrate stocks

Our Digital Printers support CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, black) for producing digital prints. Files provided in RGB (red, green, blue) or any other format are automatically converted by the digital printers to the CMYK pallet. Since the printing is done in CMYK mode there may be a difference in colour & image quality in final printing as compared to how it is visible on different display devices like monitor, mobile screen etc. if the images uploaded are in RGB mode. Hence it is recommended to work in CMYK to get optimum color results.

300 dpi (dots per inch) is the resolution of the output PDF file. However print quality of images uploaded depends on the resolution of the files uploaded.

Printing is done on high end Digital presses to ensure optimal print results.
